At Mayekawa Canada Inc., we offer our customers an industry leading optional 2-year service warranty for our MYCOM Screw compressors.
Throughout the lifespan of this warranty, parts and labour costs associated with any replacements or malfunctions are fully covered for any unexpected issues.

Travel hours and consumables at the job site are not covered and will be charged to the customer.

The cost of the warranty includes all of the following:


Hot and Cold Alignment

The warranty covers the cost for the use of our alignment tool only, labour and travel are separate.

Baseline alignment measurements will be taken before your compressor is commissioned (COLD). After a few hours of operation, a second alignment reading will be taken (HOT) once your compressor’s parts have had an opportunity to warm up and begin working.

Baseline Vibration analysis, with a complete report

TThe warranty covers the cost for the use of our vibration tool only, labour and travel are separate.

After your compressor has undergone start-up, a MYCOM mechanic will use our Vibration Analysis tool to take vibration readings from the compressor to use as a baseline comparison for our second vibration analysis 12 months later.

A full vibration analysis report will be completed by our Service Branch Manager and will provide you with a breakdown of the initial readings, why they are significant, and how they relate to the maintenance and proper operation of your unit.

Second vibration analysis performed one year after start-up, with a complete report

After 12 months have passed from the initial start-up, a MYCOM mechanic will return to your compressor site to perform a second Vibration Analysis. A complete vibration analysis report will again be provided to you by our Service Branch Manager, and will provide a comparison of the current readings to the baseline readings from the year before. Areas of concern (if any) will be highlighted, and this will help both the Operator and the MYCOM mechanics be proactive in the maintenance of the unit.

Four pre-paid oil samples to be analyzed by a third party laboratory consultant specializing in petroleum products and lubricants.

The first oil sample will be taken by a MYCOM mechanic during the commissioning of your compressor.

The second oil sample is to be taken by the customer 6 months after the start-up of the compressor. The analysis of this sample is pre-paid by MYCOM, but the customer is responsible for the delivery or shipment of the sample and any associated freight costs.

The third oil sample will be taken by a MYCOM mechanic during the second vibration analysis.

TThe fourth sample is to be taken by the customer 18 months after the start-up of the compressor. The analysis of this sample is pre-paid by MYCOM, but the customer is responsible for the delivery or shipment of the sample and any associated freight costs.


    - All of the pre-paid oil sample bottles will be left on site after the initial visit by a MYCOM mechanic.
    - If at any point throughout the life of this warranty, the oil samples that the customer are responsible for are not delivered to at the predetermined times laid out by MYCOM, the rest of this warranty immediately becomes void.
